Tyler Burrell

Council At-Large

Tyler was born and raised in Delran, and graduated from Delran High School.  Tyler earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Rowan University and will start law school at the University of Pennsylvania in 2018.

Tyler realized early in life that he was driven to make a difference in his community. He enjoyed helping people and felt compelled to make a lasting impact. Tyler first served on the Delran Township School’s Technology Committee to develop a three-year plan for the district. He also served on the Delran Recreation Advisory Committee. Tyler was the founding Vice-President of the Delran Education Foundation, a nonprofit raising money for educational initiatives.

Tyler has a deep passion for the entertainment arts. He runs his own small sound and entertainment business on the side. In addition, he works for local theatre companies and schools mentoring students in theatrical sound and lighting.

Serving as one of the youngest Councilman in the State, Tyler plans to use his age as an asset to bring a new perspective to the community. Tyler encourages residents to reach out personally to start a positive dialogue.
