Mayor’s Desk Fall 2019

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

As fall begins and school is back in session, I just want to remind everyone to please drive safely and look out for school buses and children.

We have some great projects that have recently been completed including the completion of Jake’s Place at Delran Community.  We are extremely happy to have the project completed and hope everyone is enjoying the wonderful park. This fall we anticipate the repaving of Diane Avenue, Patricia Avenue, Norman Avenue, River Road, Lake Street and Wills Street.  Due to the County trail project along River Road, certain items may not be completed until spring.

We have also received an NJDOT grant for the repaving of a portion of Conrow Road.  We are still waiting to hear if we will receive additional grant funding this year to be able to complete the entire roadway.

We have submitted a grant application to the County for the FY2019 Municipal Park Grant.  The grant will be used for additional improvements at Community Park.

We are looking forward to the Truck-or-Treat event, sponsored by the RAC, to be held on Saturday, October 26th beginning at 2:00 P.M.    Please come out and join us for a fun-filled event.  Early planning has begun for the Winter Festival.  Additional details will be posted in the coming weeks.
