Building Inspector

Building Sub code Official & Building Inspector with multiple licenses. 8 hours per week. This is a civil service position.

Tax Collector

Delran Township is accepting resumes for a full-time tax collector due to retirement beginning 2019.  The candidate must process a valid Certified Tax Collector certificate issued by New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Duties include but not limited to: billing, collection, enforcement, reporting and compliance with statutes.  The Township has a sewer utility based on water usage that is included in the Collectors duties. The Township had a collection rate of 98.71% in 2017.  Tax lines:  5706, and Sewer Utility lines: 5523.  Minimum 5 years experience, detail and multi-task oriented professional. Knowledge of Edmunds software and excel required.  Salary commensurate with experience. Delran is a Civil Service, although the Collector position is unclassified and non-union position. ADA and EOE.

Construction Code office 

Clerical Employee.  Part time 20+ hours per week, may lead to full time employment for the Construction Code office for the Township of Delran. Office duties such as data entry, typing, filing and answering phones. Knowledge of construction also helpful.
