The Green Team works on actions to meet certification goals set up by Sustainable Jersey to fosters lifestyle changes designed to minimize environmental impact while protecting and maintaining our natural resources. Members are appointed by the Mayor and Council are expected to attend monthly meeting (second Wednesday each month), participate in Green Team events and take the lead on actions based on personal interests. Actions cover wide-ranging topics including, Arts, Brownfields, Community Outreach, Emergency Management,Health and Wellness, Land Use, Natural Resources, Public Information, and Waste Management. Monthly agenda is posted on facebook and our website.
