Body Worn Cameras

As of June 1, 2021, a new Attorney General Directive went into effect updating the regulations on the use of body worn cameras by police in the State of New Jersey.

The Delran Township Police Department has been utilizing body worn cameras since 2016. These pictures show the cameras currently worn by Delran Police. Please be advised that if you have an encounter with a police officer it will be video and audio recorded with very few exceptions.
