Route 130 Safety

July 28, 2017 - Unfortunately, this week we have lost another resident to an accident on the most dangerous road in New Jersey. Our condolences go out to his family for their unconscionable loss.

Since Route 130 is a state owned and operated road, we have been working with the state Department of Transportation to address the ongoing safety problem with pedestrian traffic. Our discussion continued this week with Assemblyman Troy Singleton and has resulted in his attached letter to NJDOT Commissioner Hammer. His letter requests that the Delran portion of Route 130 be included in the state’s ongoing effort to make this road safer. Delran thanks the Assemblyman and the Department of Transportation for their continued efforts to help with this enormous problem.
