Mobile Drug Drop

Clean out the medicine cabinets before the holidays.

The holiday season is upon us. Because the holiday season is a time when friends and family often have uncontrolled access to your residence, unwanted or outdated drugs sometimes become the target of theft and misuse, especially by teenagers. To avoid theft and misuse, the Delran Police Department has launched a program designed to significantly reduce the prescription drugs in Delran homes that are either no longer needed or outdated.

On December 16, 2017 from 10am to 2pm the Delran Police Department will have a mobile medicine drop box available on Chester Ave. at the Delran Municipal Center main entrance, 900 Chester Ave. Delran.  All you have to do is gather your expired or unused meds that you need discarded, pull up to the mobile drop off station, drop it in the container and be on your way! There is no need to get out of the car!  It's that easy!  Please remove or darken any labels on the meds so that personal information is not listed. Please do not discard liquids or syringes in the container.

If you cannot make it out to the mobile medicine drop during those hours on December 16, no worries...Delran Police participates in Project Medicine Drop. There is a container always located in the lobby of the police department for proper disposal for your convenience! You can drop off expired and/or unused meds at the Delran Police Department 24/7!
