Sgt. Shawn Taylor, 28 years old.....he currently is stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs with his wife Stephanie and their 4 children; Makiyla, Andy, Yukia, and Madison.  Shawn’s unit is 1-67 Armor.   

Shawn has just returned from his 3rd tour in Iraq.  He is a Tanker.
Shawn grew up in both Delanco and Riverside.  Shawn graduated from Riverside High School in 1999.  At Riverside, he played both football and baseball...he left for the Army on July 13th, 1999...he was a member of the JROTC in High School. 

It was in the JROTC where Shawn decided he wanted to be in the Army.
 Shawn’s Uncle Tom was a Vietnam Vet.  Shawn’s Uncle Bob served in the Navy in 1963. Sgt Shawn Taylors cousin Donald Jack is the quarterback for Riverside High School Football Team and he is also in the JROTC........

Sgt Shawn Taylor will be attending their homecoming game on Oct 10th.
 He will be stationed in Kentucky in December....as an instructor for the new troops.  Shawn has already been in the Army 10 years and plans to remain in the Army for years to come.  


Please join the Yellow Ribbon Club, Warrior Watch Riders & Friends, Delran Fire and Rescue, Delran Township in welcoming home this wonderful man.
