REQUIREMENTS FOR A MARRIAGE LICENSE
Either party must be a resident of Delran and the couple must at least 18 years of age.

Either party must show proof of being a Delran resident i.e. Driver’s license, a bill-showing name and Delran address, or a notarized letter from the landlord.

Both parties must show proof of birth i.e.
- Birth Certificate or Passport
- SS#
- Must have one witness with you
- Witness must be at least 18 years of age
          1) Know both the members of the couple
         2) May be a family member
          3) Be able to speak and understand English
After you apply, there is 72 hour waiting period before the license can be issued to you. (License good in the State of New Jersey)

Must provide name, address and phone number of the Officiate.

If divorced, must bring “Final Divorce Decree” papers showing the Docket number and Judge’s signature. (If divorce papers are in a foreign language, they must be translated)

If widowed, must bring certified copy of former spouse’s death certificate.

Marriage License fee is $28.00 payable at time of application.
